Meet the team

  • Joe grew up in Port Angeles giving him a deep love for the community. With a degree in Biology, plus years as a local faith leader and pastor, his unique background gives him the heart to help both people and our environment. As most followers and supporters know, Joe is hands on in the mission as well as continually developing new ideas.

Joe DeScala

  • Nicole Johnson is a court reporter/stenographer by trade and certified in three states. She was born and raised in Port Angeles, WA, and also owns a small business there, inspiring her deep passion for the town to grow and succeed. She has been a part of many local volunteer and fundraising events, including fun runs, music festivals, cleanup missions, school activities, and the United Way.

Nicole Croxford

  • Greg Voyles, a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, grew up in Sequim, where he continues to live with his wife and two daughters. He owns an accounting firm in Port Angeles, providing financial services to both clients and the local community. Greg holds a BA in Environmental Education and a BS in Accounting, drawing on his varied educational background to support nonprofit organizations and local businesses. 

Greg Voyles

  • Dei holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments with a focus on sustainable buildings and community development. Her academic background emphasizes the integration of social, environmental, and economic justice into built environments, ensuring sustainable solutions that benefit diverse communities. She also brings over eight years of volunteer experience in emergency management, having worked as a Search and Rescue volunteer and manager in Canada in support of vulnerable populations in critical situations. Her combined experiences contribute effectively to projects that prioritize equity and resilience in housing and community development.

Dei Thomas

  • Justin is a bedside nurse at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, which treats and helps the underserved in the community. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has worked as a volunteer for at-risk youth. His experience in the medical field brings an important perspective to 4PA in dealing with homelessness.

Justin Snook

  • Roger was raised in Port Angeles and still lives and plays here.  He knows that PA is a unique place and very much wants to see it remain a clean and safe community for all.  Roger is co-founder of a financial technology company based in Bellevue WA and a long time Seattle tech veteran.  Roger has a BBA from UW (Accounting) and a MAcc (Taxation) from WSU.

Roger Parks

  • Kathy was born in Port Angeles, where her and her husband of 52 years raised their daughters in the community they love. She worked in various fields before retiring from the Port Angeles School District after 31 years, primarily in Special Education and Behavioral Development. Passionate about volunteering and the outdoors, Kathy has been involved in Little League, 4H, PTA, emergency management, and enjoys hiking, gardening, biking, and water sports.

Kathy Daugaard

  • Bill is relatively new to Port Angeles but no stranger to hard work. He attributes his leadership style and work ethic to his service in the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. In 2006, he co-founded Biltwell Inc., a California-based motorcycle helmet and gear company, where he specializes in marketing, design, and events.
